Spider Rhinestone OG Web V2 Hoodie Black
This black hoodie sets the arched Spider wordmark in crystal studs over a deep red web printed across the chest and pocket, so the front reads in two materials at once. Underneath is a 380 GSM cotton fleece pullover brushed on the inside, cut oversized with a drawcord hood, a kangaroo pocket and ribbed cuffs at the wrist and hem.

This black hoodie scatters crystal studs across the whole garment, front, back, sleeves and hood, with no wordmark anywhere on it. It is a 380 GSM cotton fleece pullover, brushed on the inside, cut oversized with a drawcord hood, a kangaroo pocket and ribbed cuffs, and it is the heaviest piece on the rail once the stones are counted.

Spider Canada Hoodies | Web, Rhinestone and Star Prints
The hoodie rail is the deepest part of Spider Canada, and it is where most people start. Sixty-three are on the shelf, nearly all pullovers, cut on one boxy block in 380 GSM brushed cotton fleece with a drawcord hood, a kangaroo pocket and ribbed cuffs. What changes from piece to piece is the graphic, and a crystal-set wordmark reads nothing like a tonal print you only catch in raking light. The Spider Canada hoodies get easier to choose between once you know the print families.
What Is on the Hoodie Rail Right Now
The Spider Canada hoodies divide first by closure: sixty pull on over the head and three close with a full-length zip. The body block is shared, so the decision is almost entirely about print and color. Roughly a third of the rail is black, with gray and pink close behind, and single pieces carry navy, maroon, gold and a photographic camo.
The Web Prints: the Largest Family
About half the rail belongs to the signature layout. An arched bubble wordmark sits across the chest, a spider web spreads beneath it down over the pocket, and small stars run down both sleeves. The back usually carries one star at the nape and nothing else. The black web hoodie is the quietest reading of it, with the print close in tone to the ground.
The two-color versions turn the volume up. Orange on turquoise, yellow on deep purple, lime on charcoal: web and wordmark are drawn in different colors, so the chest reads as contrast rather than texture. One slate gray piece adds a script line above and below the wordmark, the busiest front here short of an all-over print.
Rhinestone and Crystal-Set Pieces
Two different things are called rhinestone and they look nothing alike. The first sets the wordmark in crystal studs over a printed web: the black crystal-set web hoodie runs a deep red web under a stone arch, and stones catch light in a way no print can.
The second scatters stones across the whole garment, front, back, sleeves and hood, with no wordmark at all. The black all-over crystal hoodie is the clearest example, with heather gray and red versions of the same idea. These are the heaviest pieces on the rail and the ones to think hardest about before a wash.
Puff Stars, Numerals and All-Over Prints
Another family drops the web for thick puff lettering with oversized stars set through the wordmark. The gold puff-star hoodie carries the shapes down the sleeves too, and the same print runs on black, heather gray, brown and soft yellow. The lettering stands proud of the cloth, so it reads by touch as much as by sight.
Then come the numeral prints, where 555 or 666 arches over a web, and the all-over repeats. The yellow all-over star hoodie repeats one star-with-5 across body, sleeves and hood at several sizes, which makes it the loudest piece here.
The Plain Fronts
Not every piece has a chest graphic. Several keep a clean front and put the detail on the back and sleeves: one star at the nape and a light speckle across the shoulders. The navy star-speckle hoodie works this way, and so do the pink and heather gray. If you want the fleece without announcing it, start here.
The Fleece: 380 GSM, Brushed on the Inside
These hoodies run at 380 GSM in 100% cotton fleece, brushed on the inner face. That single number decides most of how the hoodie behaves, which is why it is worth knowing before anything else.
What 380 GSM Feels Like to Wear
A high-street hoodie usually sits near 280 to 320 GSM. At 380 the cloth has real body: it stands away from you rather than draping, the hood keeps its shape when down, and the cuffs stay at the wrist. The brushed inner face is what makes it soft; the smooth outer face is why fine web lines hold their edge instead of blurring into the knit.
Fit, and Which Size to Take
Spider Canada hoodies are cut oversized, with the shoulder seam sitting down the arm rather than on the bone. That is deliberate, because it gives the chest graphic a flat panel to print on, but it changes how sizing works against a regular-fit hoodie you already own.
How the Drop Shoulder Changes Your Usual Size
With the shoulder already dropped, a size up mostly adds length through the sleeve and body rather than width across the chest, and the piece starts to read as oversized rather than relaxed. Most people should take the size they normally wear. Measure a hoodie you own flat across the chest against the Spider Canada size guide before deciding.
If You Are Between Two Sizes
Go down. There is already room through the waist, and the smaller size keeps the hem where it belongs rather than below the hip. The exception is layering something thick underneath.
Pullover or Full Zip
A pullover gives the print an unbroken panel; a zip cuts the graphic down the middle. If the hoodie is the outer layer most days, the zip earns its place, because you can open it walking into a warm room instead of pulling the whole thing off. The heather gray full-zip hoodie is the plainest of the three.
Washing a Printed Hoodie Without Losing the Print
Most Spider Canada hoodies carry a print, and heavy fleece with thick ink on it fails in one way, for one reason: heat. Water does not lift a print off cloth. A dryer does, and the crystal-set pieces have a second failure point that plain prints do not.
The Wash That Keeps the Ink and the Stones
Turn the piece inside out, run it cold, and leave the bleach alone. Inside out matters more than temperature, because it keeps the printed face off the drum and off the rest of the load. Stones come off at the glue line when they catch on a zip, not because of the water, so a mesh bag is worth the trouble. Our product care notes cover every hoodie in the range.
Drying and Pressing
Hang it rather than tumbling it. At this weight the dryer shrinks the body and cracks the ink, in that order, and puff lettering flattens for good once it has had real heat. If a crease needs pressing, press from the inside and keep the iron off the graphic.
When to Wear One, and What Goes with It
This is autumn and winter weight. Through October and November a 380 GSM fleece works on its own; from December it becomes the warm layer under a shell, and the boxy cut is what lets that happen without the sleeves bunching inside a jacket. That room is the useful part in a Canadian winter. A plain cotton tee is the usual layer underneath, and the Spider Canada t-shirts are cut on a comparable block.
What Goes on the Bottom Half
A heavy hoodie wants a leg that balances it, which usually means something straight or wide rather than tapered. Matching Spider sweatpants are the straightforward answer, and several of the prints on the hoodie rail carry straight across to them, so a set can be built a piece at a time. The catch is color: two dye lots of the same shade, bought months apart, rarely land in quite the same place. The Spider tracksuit sets take that risk out by pairing the fleece top with its matching bottom in one print.
How Many Spider Canada Hoodies Are There to Choose From?
Sixty-three. Sixty are pullovers and three close with a full-length zip, and all are cut on the same body block, so the choice comes down to print and color.
What Weight Is the Fleece?
380 GSM in 100% cotton fleece, brushed on the inner face. A standard high-street hoodie usually sits between 280 and 320 GSM, so these have noticeably more body to them.
Rhinestone or All-Over Crystal: What Is the Difference?
On the rhinestone pieces only the wordmark is set in stones, with the web printed beneath it. On the all-over pieces there is no wordmark and the stones are scattered across body, sleeves and hood.
Do These Hoodies Run Large?
They are cut oversized with a dropped shoulder, so they read roomier than a regular fit at the same label size. Most people take their usual size, and anyone between two sizes should take the smaller one.
How Should I Wash One?
Inside out, cold, no bleach, and hang it to dry rather than putting it through a dryer. Anything set with stones is worth washing inside a mesh bag. If a crease needs pressing, press from the inside and keep the iron off the print.
Which Print Is the Easiest to Wear Every Day?
The tonal ones, where the print is the same color as the ground and reads as texture rather than as a logo. Most of those sit on the black, gray and brown pieces, and the plain-fronted styles are quieter still.
What Weather Are These Actually For?
Autumn on their own, winter as the warm layer under a shell. The boxy cut leaves room for a tee or a thin knit underneath.
