Stores
There are no Spider Canada stores to walk into. Spider Canada sells here and nowhere else, which means everything on the rail is sold from the same small run of stock rather than split between a website and a counter somewhere.
Buying Without Seeing It First
Two pages do the job of standing in a fitting room. The size guide has flat measurements you can hold against a garment you already own, and the care page tells you how the print will behave after the first few washes. Between them there is not much left to guess at. It also helps to know what the numbers describe. Chest width and body length are measured flat on the garment that ships, not on a model, so a 20 inch chest width is 40 inches around. The fitted cuts, the compression pieces and the bodysuit sit close by design and take your usual size; the oversized tees and the hoodies carry a dropped shoulder and are already cut wide, so sizing up on those buys length more than room. Weight is the other thing a screen cannot show: 380 GSM terry is heavy and stiff for its first couple of washes, and a 180 GSM jersey is light from the first wear. If the piece still turns out wrong, the returns page covers what can come back and how a size swap is handled.
If Spider Canada Stores Ever Open
Should a physical space ever happen, it will be listed on this page with an address rather than announced and then left vague. Until then, anything claiming to be a Spider Canada store is not one.
Judging Fit and Feel Without a Fitting Room
Two numbers do most of the work. The first is the flat measurement of something you already own and like the fit of, taken across the chest with the garment laid down rather than stretched. Hold that figure against the garment column in the size guide and the answer is usually obvious within one size.
The second is weight. A 180 GSM jersey tee and a 380 GSM french terry hoodie are not the same garment in a different shape, and the difference is easy to feel at home even though nothing here can be handled first. Pick a t-shirt out of your own wardrobe that feels thin and one sweatshirt that feels substantial, and those are roughly the two ends of this rail.
Where the Cut Is Least Forgiving
Oversized shapes absorb a size error; fitted long sleeves and leggings do not. If you are between two sizes on something cut close, the measurement matters more than the habit, so take the numbers rather than your usual size.
Why We Are Online Only
There is no physical shop to walk into, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a stage we are passing through. Running online keeps the range wide and the prices honest instead of paying for a floor and a window. The trade-off is that you cannot handle the fleece before buying, so the size guide does the work a fitting room would, and measuring a piece you already own beats trusting a label. Everything in stock is listed on. Spider Canada, which is the only accurate picture of what we hold.
Getting the Size Right by Post
The cut runs oversized with a dropped shoulder, so it reads roomier than a regular fit at the same size. Measure flat across the chest and match the figures; if you are between two sizes, the smaller one usually keeps the hem where it belongs.
