Careers

Nothing open. We would sooner say so than run a page of roles that quietly collect applications for a shortlist that does not exist. There are only a few of us here. One prints, everyone packs, and the person who answers your email in the afternoon probably measured that garment flat in the morning. Hiring follows the rail: when the work no longer fits the week, we add someone. That posting, when it comes, will name the hours and the place and describe month one honestly. Until then the honest answer is that the work is covered. Six categories carry stock, forty-four garments sit on the rail, and the whole of that runs on a small enough team that a new pair of hands changes the week rather than the org chart.

What the Work Here Is Really Like

Small team, physical work, and much less glamour than the word streetwear suggests. The people who pack orders are the people who pick which drawing gets printed next. Nobody here works on one thing only. A week can mean pulling 380 GSM french terry off a rail, checking a print landed where the sample said it would, rewriting a product page because the fit notes were too vague, then carrying boxes to the courier. You would do several of those jobs, not one. And you would have to be willing to say out loud when something is not good enough to ship. The measuring is the part people underestimate. Every product page on this site quotes a flat chest width and a body length because somebody laid the garment on a table and took them, size by size, and those numbers get taken again when a new run arrives rather than copied forward from the last one.

If You Want to Be Considered Later

Write in through the contact page with what you actually do and one example of it. Keep it short. When something opens, the people who did that are the ones we go back to, and nothing on this page is a substitute for a real reply.

The Skills That Would Actually Be Useful Here

When something does open it will almost certainly be practical rather than strategic. The work that takes the most time is packing orders properly, photographing garments so the ground color is honest, preparing artwork so a drawing survives being printed at scale, and answering messages from people deciding between two sizes. None of that is glamorous and all of it decides whether somebody orders again.

The one skill that carries further than the others is being able to explain a garment plainly. A person who can say why a 380 GSM terry hoodie feels different from a 240 GSM crewneck, without reaching for adjectives, is more useful here than a person with a deck.

If You Write In

Send one example of work you have actually finished rather than a list of things you are interested in, through the contact page. Messages are kept and read again when something opens, and nobody is chasing a reply in the meantime.

How Hiring Works Here

We are a small operation, so roles open rarely and close quickly when they do. There is no rolling application pile and no automated reply pretending otherwise. If something is posted, it will say what the job actually involves, not a list of adjectives, and it will tell you how to apply. Until then, the most useful thing you can do is get to know the range on Spider Canada so that if you do write in, you already understand what we sell and who buys it.

What We Look For

People who care about getting an order out correctly and answering a customer plainly. Retail or fulfilment experience helps, but a straight, honest note about why you want to work here tells us more than a polished template does.

Applications sent when nothing is open are read and kept on file, but there is no queue to chase and no reply promised until a genuine role appears.
