Size Guide

This Spider Canada size guide explains how the range is cut and how to pick a size with confidence. Every top is drawn on an oversized block with the shoulder seam sitting down the arm rather than on the bone, so the pieces read roomier than a regular fit at the same label size.

How the Fit Runs

Tops are boxy through the body with a drawcord hood, kangaroo pocket and ribbed cuffs on the fleece. Legs are relaxed through the seat and thigh with a drawcord waist and a cuffed ankle. Most people take their usual size on both, and the cut carries the rest without needing a size up.

Flat Measurements (Approximate)

Measured flat across the chest, one side to the other, the hoodies run close to these figures. Treat them as a guide rather than an exact promise, because a boxy cut and a hand finish both move a centimetre or two either way.

  • Small: chest about 58 cm, body length about 68 cm
  • Medium: chest about 61 cm, body length about 70 cm
  • Large: chest about 64 cm, body length about 72 cm
  • Extra large: chest about 67 cm, body length about 74 cm

The cotton jersey tees sit roughly three centimetres narrower in the chest at each size and a touch shorter in the body, cut on a matching square shape. The joggers follow the same sizing as the tops, so a set bought in one size hangs as it should on both halves.

Caught Between Two Sizes

Size down. With the shoulder already dropped, going up a size mostly adds length through the sleeve and body and tips the piece from relaxed into fully oversized. The one exception is layering something thick underneath, where the extra room earns its place.

The Simplest Check

Measure a hoodie you already own and like, laid flat across the chest, and match it against the figures above rather than trusting the label alone. Care details for every piece are on the Spider Canada product care page, and the full range is in Spider Canada.
