Gift Cards

Spider Canada gift cards exist because buying a printed piece for somebody else means two guesses at once. Which of thirteen drawings they would actually put on, and which of four sizes fits them in a cut they have never handled. Get either one wrong and the parcel comes back.

How Spider Canada Gift Cards Work

The card arrives by email with a code that goes in at checkout. It has no physical form to lose and nothing to post, which also makes it the one thing here that can be bought late and still arrive on time. What it cannot do is reach a shelf that has nothing on it. Eight category pages here are open and empty, so a card spent on a set or on headwear has nothing to land on yet, and the pages that do carry stock are the hoodies, zip hoodies, sweatshirts, long sleeves, t-shirts, tank tops, sweatpants, cargos, leggings and bodysuits. That is still forty-four pieces to choose from, which is usually more choice than the person with the code expects.

What It Can Be Spent On

Anything in stock, from a 380 GSM hoodie down to a 180 GSM tee, in any size from S to XL, including whatever is sitting on the sale rail.

Check sizes before choosing

If You Would Rather Pick the Piece Yourself

Then the size guide is the page that matters. Take something they already wear, measure it flat, and hold those numbers against the chart instead of against a letter. The oversized shapes and the fitted cuts behave nothing alike at the same size, so the chart is the only honest route through it. Get the drawing right as well: most prints run on more than one ground and Web alone sits on seven, so naming the drawing narrows forty-four pieces faster than naming a color does. If it still lands wrong, a size exchange is straightforward.

Choosing When You Are Unsure of Their Size

Shapes differ in how much they forgive. An oversized hoodie or a boxy tee absorbs a size either way and still looks intended; a fitted long sleeve, a bodysuit or a pair of leggings does not, and a size out there is simply wrong. If you are guessing, a card spent on the forgiving shapes is the safer gift, and the person can take the measurement themselves before choosing.

Weight is the other thing worth thinking about on their behalf. A 380 GSM french terry hoodie is a cold-weather piece and wears warm indoors; a 180 GSM jersey tee is the opposite. Someone who runs hot will get more use out of the lighter end of the rail whatever the drawing looks like.

The Card Itself

It carries no expiry pressure from us and can be spent across more than one order, so there is no need to spend it all at once. Sizes and flat measurements are on the size guide when they come to choose.

How a Gift Card Works

A gift card carries a balance and nothing else: no fixed product, no expiry games, no pressure to spend it in one visit. The person you send it to picks what they want when they want it, which on a range built around fit and print is the sensible way to give. If the balance does not cover the whole basket, the rest is simply paid the usual way at checkout. The pieces they will be choosing between all sit on Spider Canada.

Giving One for Sizing Reasons

A gift card is the safe answer when you are unsure of someone’s size, because the cut here runs oversized and a guess can miss. Let them measure against the size guide and choose for themselves rather than returning a piece later.
