FAQs

This Spider Canada FAQ gathers the questions that come up most often about the range, from how the fit runs to how to keep a print looking right. If something is not covered here, the Spider Canada size guide and the Spider Canada product care page go into more detail.

How Does the Fit Run?

Everything is cut oversized with a dropped shoulder, so the pieces read roomier than a regular fit at the same label size. Most people take their usual size, and anyone caught between two should take the smaller one, because the cut already carries plenty of width through the body.

What Weight Is the Fabric?

The hoodies and sweat pieces run at 380 GSM in brushed cotton fleece, noticeably heavier than a standard high-street hoodie near 280 to 320. The tees are lighter, cut from cotton jersey for layering and for the warmer months, with a heavier jersey on the pieces marked heavyweight.

How Do the Print Families Differ?

There are four: web prints with an arched wordmark and sleeve stars, crystal-set and rhinestone pieces, raised puff and numeral prints, and quiet tonal versions where the graphic matches the ground. Tonal and plain-front pieces are the easiest to wear every day.

Should I Buy a Set or Separate Pieces?

A matching set pairs a fleece top with the leg printed to go with it in one color and one print run, which takes the guesswork out of the dye lot. Separate joggers make sense when you would rather mix a printed top with a plain leg, or build a set a piece at a time.

How Do I Look After a Piece?

Wash inside out and cold, skip the bleach and hang each piece to dry rather than tumbling it. Crystal-set pieces are worth washing inside a mesh bag so the stones do not catch. The full range, with every print and colorway, is in Spider Canada.
