Spider Canada T-Shirts | Web, Script and Stone Prints

Fifty-two tees sit on this rail, and they are the layer the rest of Spider Canada is built around. All of them are short-sleeved cotton jersey with a ribbed crew neck and a straight, square body, so the shape stays the same from one to the next. Two things do change, and both matter before you buy: the weight of the cloth, which runs from a standard jersey to a properly heavy one, and how loudly the chest reads. Some of the Spider Canada t-shirts print tonally and almost disappear at arm's length; others put gothic script or a stone-set spider right across the front.

What Is on the T-Shirt Rail

The Spider Canada t-shirts split almost evenly between white and black grounds, with the rest spread across beige, brown, navy, gray, cyan, slate, green, yellow, blue and a soft nude. White carries the most pieces, which is predictable, because a white ground shows a coloured print at full strength without fighting it.

The Web Prints on Jersey

The arched wordmark with a web spreading under it is the signature across the whole range, and it comes to jersey more or less unchanged. The white web tee is the straightforward version of it, printed large and central with the web dropping towards the hem.

The second-generation layout tightens the drawing and sharpens the contrast. The black web tee is the one to look at if you want the graphic to carry across a room, and there are slate gray and cyan versions of the same artwork if a black ground feels too hard.

Script, Souvenir and Tonal Prints

A second group leaves the web alone. One runs the name in a rose-gold gothic script, outlined rather than filled, so it catches light instead of blocking it. Another is a souvenir print, laid out like something bought on a trip, with a heart above the lettering. The white souvenir tee shows the layout most clearly, and it also runs on yellow, blue and green.

Then there are the tonal pieces, printed in the ground color so the chest reads as texture rather than as a logo. The white tee with tonal chest text is the quietest thing on this rail, and it is the one that behaves like a plain tee until somebody is standing close.

Stone-Set and Embellished Pieces

A handful of pieces set their motif in crystal studs rather than printing it. The spider is picked out in stones on a black ground, with a small numeral worked into the body of the drawing. These are the pieces that read differently under artificial light than they do outdoors, and they are the ones to wash with the most care.

The Jersey: Two Weights, Not One

This is the part most people miss. The rail carries both a standard-weight jersey and a genuinely heavy one, and the difference in how they hang is larger than the difference in how they look on a screen.

Standard Weight: Around 240 GSM

The bulk of the rail is 100% cotton jersey at 240 GSM. That is a true all-year tee: enough body to hold its shape through a wash, light enough to sit under a hoodie in winter without bulk at the shoulder. The lighter-weight black tee sits at the thinner end of this group and drapes closer to the body.

Heavyweight: Around 330 GSM

The pieces marked heavyweight run near 330 GSM in the same 100% cotton. At that weight the jersey stands rather than drapes, the hem keeps a straight line instead of curling, and the shoulder holds a square edge. The navy heavyweight tee is the clearest example, and it wears closer to a light sweatshirt than to a summer tee.

Which Weight to Choose

If the tee is going under something for most of the year, take the standard weight. If it is going to be worn on its own, and you want it to keep its shape all day, take the heavyweight and expect it to feel substantial from the first wear.

Fit and Sizing

Spider Canada t-shirts are cut boxy, with a square armhole and a body that falls straight from the chest rather than tapering at the waist. The neck rib is narrow and firm, which is what stops a crew neck going slack after a few months.

How the Boxy Cut Changes Your Usual Size

Because the body is already straight and the shoulder sits wide, sizing up adds length more than width and the tee starts to read as oversized. Most people should stay with their usual size. Lay a tee you already own flat, measure it across the chest, and compare that against the Spider Canada size guide rather than going by the label alone.

If You Are Layering

Stay with your normal size even when the tee is going under fleece. The hoodies are cut with room through the body already, so there is no need to size the tee down to make it sit flat.

Looking After a Printed Tee

Jersey is thinner than fleece, so a print sits closer to the surface and takes more of the abrasion in a wash. The failure is almost always heat and friction rather than water.

Washing and Drying

Turn the tee inside out, wash cold, skip the bleach, and hang it rather than tumbling it. Inside out is the single most useful habit, because it keeps the printed face away from the drum. Stone-set pieces belong in a mesh bag, since the stones lift at the glue line when they snag. Our product care notes cover this garment by garment.

Ironing a Printed Tee

Press from the inside and keep the plate off the print entirely. Jersey creases more than fleece, so a cool iron on the reverse is worth the two minutes.

What These Go With

Spider Canada t-shirts are rarely the whole outfit on their own. Through autumn and winter it is the layer under something heavier, and the shapes are drawn to work together rather than to be mixed at random.

Under Fleece, and on the Bottom Half

The obvious pairing is a tee under a pullover, and the Spider Canada hoodies leave enough room through the chest for a heavyweight jersey underneath without pulling across the shoulder. In summer the same tee works on its own with a looser leg.

For the bottom half, a straight or wide leg balances a boxy top better than anything tapered. The matching Spider sweatpants are the direct answer, cut relaxed through the thigh and gathered at the ankle so the hem does not stack over the shoe. The one thing a separate purchase cannot promise is an exact color match, because two garments dyed months apart rarely land in the same shade. The Spider tracksuit sets remove that problem by pairing a top and a leg from a single print run.

How Many Spider Canada T-Shirts Are Available?

Fifty-two. They share one body shape, a short sleeve with a ribbed crew neck, so the choice comes down to the weight of the jersey and the print on the chest.

What Weight Is the Cotton?

Most run at 240 GSM in 100% cotton jersey. The pieces marked heavyweight run denser in the same 240 GSM cotton, which gives a tee that stands rather than drapes.

Do These Tees Run Large?

They are cut boxy with a square shoulder, so they read roomier than a tapered tee at the same label size. Most people take their usual size.

Which Prints Are the Quietest?

The tonal ones, printed in the same color as the ground so the chest reads as texture rather than as lettering. The gothic script and the web prints are the ones that carry at a distance.

How Should I Wash One?

Wash cold and inside out, no bleach, and hang it rather than tumbling. Anything set with stones is worth washing inside a mesh bag so the stones do not snag.

Can These Be Worn Under a Hoodie?

Yes, and that is what most of them are for through the colder months. Take your usual size in both; the fleece is cut with enough room through the body that a heavyweight tee still sits flat underneath.

What Is the Difference Between the Standard and Heavyweight Tees?

The heavyweight pieces use a denser finish on the same cotton, so they hold a straight hem and a square shoulder and wears closer to a light sweatshirt; the standard weight is easier to layer and better in warm weather.
