Shorts: Not in Stock Yet at Spider Canada

Nothing has been cut for this section, so the grid above is empty and there is no point pretending otherwise. The Spider Canada clothing label started with layers, which is why the catalog leans hard toward hoodies, long sleeves and printed bottoms rather than anything you would wear in July. Two tank tops, eight short sleeve tees and a compression tee carry the warm months on their own at the moment, and they are listed further down with what each one actually looks like. When printed shorts for summer are produced they will land on this page, keep the same size run of S to XL, and carry artwork from the print families already in the shop.

Below the grid you will find the pieces people buy instead, how to size them without a chart for this category, and which other sections are still waiting on stock. If you would rather see everything at once, the whole Spider Canada catalog sits behind one link.

Shorts Have Not Been Produced Yet

No shorts have been cut yet. This is a young range built around a handful of graphics, and the first production runs went into cold weather pieces. That order of events explains the gap. Nothing was discontinued and nothing sold out; the pattern simply has not been cut.

What That Means for Summer

With no shorts on the rail, the bottom half of a summer outfit has to come from somewhere else, while the top half is well covered. Eleven pieces in the shop are genuinely warm weather garments, and every one of them is a top. That imbalance is worth knowing before you plan an order around this page.

Warm Weather Pieces Available Now

Short sleeves and no sleeves, eleven pieces in total, all sitting in one section. They share the darker end of the print range, which is a little unusual for summer garments and happens to work in their favor when the rest of what you own is black.

Two Tank Tops in the Range

Both tanks live in the graphic tees and tank tops section rather than in a category of their own, which catches people out. One is ribbed and olive, cut close and quiet enough to wear under an open shirt. The other carries a print and a dark ground, and it is the one that works as a standalone piece rather than a layer. That second one is the Wide tank top in Phantom.

How the Two Tanks Differ

The olive one is about texture and the dark one is about artwork. Buy the first if you want something plain under a layer, and the second if the tank is the whole outfit. Sizing runs the same on both, though the ribbed cut sits closer at the same letter.

Eight Graphic Tees for Hot Days

The tees are where the loudest artwork lands, and they cover a wider spread of grounds than any other short sleeve piece in the shop. Hellcat Kenny and Thug both run dark. White and red sit at the other end. If you want the brightest of the eight on a hot afternoon, the I Love t-shirt in red is it.

For something between those two poles, the Thug t-shirt in Slate Gray uses a faded, warmer ground that reads lighter than black without going pale. It is the tee most people pick when the dark ones feel heavy and the white one feels too plain for the occasion.

What People Wear on the Bottom

With no shorts to offer, this is the honest part: most customers pair a summer top with a bottom that was designed for cooler weather, and it works better than it sounds when the cut is right.

Sweatpants Under a Summer Top

Only one pair in the printed sweatpants in dark grounds section gathers at the ankle. The other eight leave the hem open, so the leg falls over the shoe instead of stopping above it, and that open line reads lighter next to a tank top than a stacked cuff does. The plainest pair, and the one that sits most easily under a loud tee, is the sweatpants in Black, which is also the pair that cuffs.

The Single Legging in the Range

One pair of leggings exists, printed with the Sky Blue graphic down the leg, close through the thigh and knee and flared at the hem. It is the lightest bottom in the shop by some distance and the nearest thing to a warm weather option, which is why it comes up in this conversation more than anything else. That pair is the Star Pattern leggings in Sky Blue.

Sizing Without a Shorts Chart

There is no chart for this category because there is no garment to measure. What does exist is a full set of waist measurements for the bottoms already in the shop, and those transfer usefully to any future pair.

Waist Measurements You Already Have

Take your waist once and write it down, because shorts are sized from that number and nothing else. Every bottom in the range is listed against that number on the size chart with waist and length, and the same figure will apply when this section fills. Inside leg matters less on a short garment, which removes the second measurement from the decision entirely.

Between Two Sizes at the Waist

Go down. Drawstrings pull in, they do not let out, and a waistband that needs cinching hard sits better than one that gapes. The only exception in the shop is the legging, where there is no drawstring and the true size is the right size.

The Rest of the Empty Sections

Eight categories in the menu are placeholders right now. They stay published, so the internal structure of the site holds, and so nothing needs rebuilding when stock arrives.

Matching Sets and Full Two-Pieces

A short set sold as one purchase depends on this page filling first, since half of it would be a pair of shorts. That section is therefore twice removed from stock.

The heavier version, tracksuits as a matched two-piece, is also unstocked, although you can build something equivalent yourself from a hoodie and a bottom in the same ground.

Kids Sizes and Warm Knitwear

Nothing has been produced in clothing for children and smaller sizes, and the adult range starts at S with no junior labelling anywhere.

At the other end of the year, knitted sweaters and heavier tops are missing too, which leaves the hoodies covering winter without help.

Nothing for the Head Yet

The beanies and winter headwear page has no stock, and it is the one people ask about most often when the weather turns.

Summer headwear is in the same position, and caps with a printed front panel have not been made either. Nothing at all has been produced for the head so far.

Behind both of those pages sits the small accessories and extras section, which covers everything that is not a garment and has had nothing added to it.

Where New Pieces Show Up First

New pieces do not appear in the category grids first. They show up in one place, get filed into their sections afterward, and that lag is worth knowing if you are waiting on something specific.

Checking New Arrivals First

The most recent additions to the range page carries anything produced since the last update, including new grounds on existing prints. It is the only page that changes regularly, so it is the one to check rather than this one.

Hoodies and Long Sleeves for Evenings

Summer evenings still need a layer, and the shop is well stocked for that. The hooded tops with large graphics group holds eleven pieces, with OG Web covering four grounds on its own.

For something lighter than a hood, the seven Web pieces in the long sleeve crewnecks in one print section share a single drawing and differ only in ground, which makes the choice a color decision rather than a fit decision.

Browsing the Men'S and Women'S Sides

Thirty-eight pieces sit in clothing for men across four garment types, cut a little fuller through the body and the shoulder.

Forty-four sit in clothing for women in four sizes, cut narrower and holding the only legging in the range. Both grids include every tee and tank named further up this page.

Care Notes for Printed Tees

Thin summer garments take heat damage faster than a hoodie does, so cold water and inside-out washing matter more here than anywhere else. The washing guidance for graphic garments page sets out the detail by garment type.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Shorts Sold Out or Unreleased?

Unreleased. Nothing has ever been produced for this section, so there is no sold-out stock waiting to return.

What Is the Coolest Piece in the Shop for Summer?

One of the two tank tops. The ribbed olive one sits closest to the body, and the printed dark one works as a complete outfit on its own.

Can I Wear Sweatpants in Warm Weather?

Plenty of people do. Eight of the nine pairs leave the hem open, so the leg falls rather than bunching, and an open hem reads lighter next to a tee than a gathered cuff.

Will Shorts Use the Same Prints as the Rest of the Range?

That is the intention, since the shop is built around a small number of graphic families rather than one-off designs. Nothing has been confirmed, and no date exists.

What Size Should I Expect Shorts to Run In?

S to XL, the same as everything else. The size run has been consistent across every garment produced so far and there is no reason for this category to break it.

Is the Legging a Good Summer Option?

It is the lightest bottom available and the closest thing to a warm weather cut, though it sits close through the leg and opens out at the hem rather than running loose throughout.

How Do I Know When This Page Fills?

Watch the new arrivals page rather than this one. Category grids update after a piece has already been listed there.

Do the Tees Shrink After Washing?

Cold washing and hang drying keep them stable. Heat is what changes a printed tee, both in the fit and in the artwork, so the dryer is the thing to avoid.
