What We Do Instead
Photographs of pieces being worn properly are worth more here than a contract. If you own something from this rail, and it has been through a winter, that is the sort of thing we actually want to see, and it costs neither side anything. What makes one of those photographs useful is dull to describe and easy to spot. Daylight rather than a ring light, because filled white on a black ground blows out under anything harsh and a tonal print disappears altogether. The whole garment in frame, so the drop of a shoulder seam or the break of an open hem is visible. And the size actually worn, since that is the one number nobody can read off an image.
If You Want to Talk Anyway
Say what you do, show one thing you have made, and skip the reach figures. We read every message, and a small account with a good eye is more use to a print label than a large one without. Two things we can always answer: which ground a drawing is currently on, and what a piece measures flat from S to XL. Both are on the product page, but people ask anyway, and it is quicker than guessing.
What a Useful Photograph Actually Contains
A photograph is worth more to us than a contract because it answers the question a product page cannot: how a print sits on a real body at a real size. The ones we keep coming back to have three things in them. The garment is worn rather than held, the size is stated, and the light is ordinary daylight rather than a filter that changes the ground color.
Height and usual size matter more than the camera. A 380 GSM hoodie photographed on someone who says they are wearing a large tells another buyer more than a studio shot ever will, because the drop of the shoulder seam is the whole question with an oversized cut.
Sending One
Attach it to a message through the contact page and say which piece it is and which size you took. If it ends up being used anywhere, you will be asked first and credited by whatever name you give us. Nothing gets lifted from a public account without being asked for.
How People Are Chosen
We approach people whose own style already fits the range rather than running an open call and sorting through hundreds of forms. It is a slow, deliberate choice, so if we get in touch it is because the pieces genuinely suit how you dress and what you post. Nothing is lifted from a public account without being asked for first, and anything you share stays yours. The range any of this is built around sits on Spider Canada.
What It Involves
Wearing pieces you would have chosen anyway and being honest about them, good and bad. We are not after a script; a plain opinion about a fit or a print is worth more to the next customer than a polished caption.
There is no fixed term and no quota of posts to hit; the arrangement lasts as long as the pieces still suit you and the fit is honest.
